SUMMARY



The Deputy program Manager supports the Army Training and Doctrine Command Enterprise Classroom Program in provision of turnkey classroom Sustainment and Technology service and works alongside the Program Manager to manage the resources available, establish priorities and schedules based on Task Order requirements. Provide the interface with the KO, COR, TO COR, Senior Government leadership, in the form of briefs on project progress.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS



Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.



KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Provides expertise necessary to support the various tasks areas contained within the contract and prepare the workforce to support emerging requirements that will evolve during the contract period of performance.


Assists Program Manger with all aspects of contract support to ensure a balance of efficient and effective operations.


Assists Program Manger managing substantial contract support operations involving personnel at diverse locations.


Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities.


Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to effectively direct contract support activities.


Interprets policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates.


Must be capable of negotiating.


Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.


Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical or managerial experience in information resources management; three (3) years supervising and managing of substantive IT/Telecommunications projects.



JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES



Demonstrated experience with preparing executive level briefs, summaries, presentations, situation reports, management reports and other high-level communications.


Proven experience in program management or a related role.


Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects.


Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.


Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.


Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.


Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.


Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting.


Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


Strong organizational and time management skills.



LANGUAGE SKILLS



Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS



Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.



REASONING ABILITY



Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
