Job Description:

The Farrell Area School District is now accepting applications for the position of Business Manager. The District is located in Western Pennsylvania in Mercer County and has an enrollment of approximately 700 students with an operating budget of nearly $30 million. The School Business Administrator is responsible for administering all aspects of the school districts fiscal activities and the overall functioning of non-educational operations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, CPA and MBA strongly preferred Five years supervisory experience in a public school district or auditing firm, preferred Accounting of federal programs Knowledgeable in budgeting and budget forecasting Auditing Tax billing/collections Financial planning Federal and State legislation/regulations Accounting and reporting Possess the ability to multitask and problem solve Strong analytical skills Able to work in a team environment Excellent organization skills, and effectively supervise Excellent benefit.
