Job Description:

Base Pay: $121,800.00 - $158,200.00 / year
JOB SUMMARY
Provide quality chiropractic care in a compassionate and caring environment. Work as an integral part of the medical staff by participating in all strategic initiatives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take appropriate history, perform physical examination of patients, order pertinent diagnostics, and implement appropriate therapy according to standard chiropractic practice.Obtain appropriate consultations when problems presented are outside scope of practice or when unfamiliar with a particular aspect of the patients care.Communicate effectively with the patient throughout the chiropractic patient relationship, provide appropriate patient education, and demonstrate respect for the culturally determined needs of patients.Show consistent and determined intent to be competent, meeting or exceeding the community standard of care.Demonstrate competent knowledge in delivering health care to patients through peer review as established through the chiropractic staff bylaws, recommendations of each licensing Board, and clinic Quality Improvement Program. Participate in peer review, carefully considering the opinions of colleagues.Participate in SCHC Chiropractic Peer Review process.Comply with other facility regulations if providing inpatient care and always represent SCHC in other facilities in a professional manner.Support and contribute to clinic efforts in a positive manner to maintain and improve patient satisfaction in all aspects of health delivery.Work at maximum potential to meet productivity requirements to improve fiscal viability while maintaining quality medical care.Meet all time commitments by arriving on time to the clinic and working the entire shift or more as needed.Become an integral part of the medical staff through participation in medical staff and other clinic meetings.Comply with Title 22 regulations regarding health care and infectious disease.Perform other duties within the scope of practice as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Completion of a nationally accredited Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine program.California license upon hire and maintain current without any limitations on the license to practice in the area of specialty.Must be in good standing with the California State Licensing Board.CPR certification upon hire and maintain current.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous outpatient clinic experience working with an indigent population preferred.
