Production Team Lead- Night Shift at King Brands LLC in Fort Myers, Florida

Job Description:

Production Team Lead Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate within safety and quality standards, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and adherence to job specifications.
Ensure quality checks and procedures are complete. When covering for Machine Operator.
Ensure proper PPE is utilized
Responsible for reading, comprehending the job standards, packaging requirements, and meeting the quality standards and specifications for products (I.E.: coding, material, specs, etc.).
Operates machine controls and minor adjustments while monitoring the line for proper operation and performing final case inspections. (When needed)
Closely monitoring production equipment for jams, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring the availability and application of materials.
Able to quickly troubleshoot issues on equipment, resolve and keep production line moving.
Work in a safe manner.
Manually record data as required, charting necessary process adjustments based on data findings. When covering for an operator.
Verify such specs as cap torque, stream pressure, container fill temperature, fill weights, codes. etc.
Determine causes of downtime and document it on the downtime sheet. When Covering for Machine Operator.
Reports food safety and quality problems to Plant Management and SQFP to initiate action.
Maintains Knowledge of Production Schedule.
Covers breaks for Machine Operators when needed.
Stocking Machines with Material
CIPs (Cleaning in Process)
Back up for Pre-shift Meetings and processing End of Shift Reports
for Supervisor

All other Duties may be assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Production Team Lead within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to understand units of measure and record information.
Willingness to work any shift assigned.
Ability to read, comprehend, and following written work-related instructions.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to track and record production information as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
