Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Third-Party Logistics (3PL). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, exceptional sales skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and closing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets in the LTL and 3PL sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Present and promote our range of logistics services to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and identify potential growth areas.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the logistics industry, specifically in LTL and 3PL services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
- Strong understanding of the LTL and 3PL market, including key players, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
