Your Role: EMD Electronics is in search of a highly accomplished and strategic Head of Business Excellence to spearhead our business growth initiatives. This role will focus on identifying and driving new business growth opportunities, both organic and inorganic, through comprehensive market analysis and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to lead business planning initiatives that align with our corporate objectives. In this role, Strategic Business Development is key. You will proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend new business growth opportunities, including potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances. You will lead organic growth initiatives. You will focus on step-out initiatives to expand existing business lines and new growth opportunities across the combined business structure. Regarding inorganic growth strategies, you will lead efforts to identify and execute strategic acquisitions, investments, and partnerships to bolster our market position. In regards to business planning, you will support creation of detailed business plans that outline strategic initiatives, resource allocation, timelines, and key performance indicators. You will conduct rigorous financial modeling and analysis to support business planning and decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, R&D, and operations, to ensure alignment and engagement in strategic initiatives. You will build and maintain relationships with key industry players, potential partners, and other external stakeholders.



Who You Are




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.




Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic business development, corporate strategy, or related roles, preferably within the technology sector.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

    • Proven track record of leading successful business development initiatives.

    • Ability to think strategically and drive execution.

    • Strong project management and organizational skills.

    • Leadership and team management experience.
