As the Call & Deposits Reports Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight to a team of analysts and specialists as they perform data quality reviews, deliver insights and analysis, and conduct project work to support the System’s supervisory and monetary policy objectives. Working in tandem with the Bank Credit Manager and the Regulatory Reports Manager, you will develop strategies to strengthen collaboration and agility across the financial report teams. Given weekly deliverables to the Board of Governors, you will build a culture that balances the need for speed with practices that consistently produce high-quality results, all while protecting information security. Your organizational skills, collaboration, and people leadership expertise are instrumental for developing and leading your teams. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Data Insights + Reporting.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Leads Call & Deposits team to provide timely, high-quality data to stakeholders, and to meet the strategic objectives of the national Statistics Function.


  • Collaborates with Group management to develop and implement strategic objectives that increase staff engagement, inclusion, and enablement in alignment with the Bank’s strategic direction.


  • Applies financial reporting expertise and a broad understanding of the business to serve as a leader or participant on System workgroups and initiatives, influence national business line strategy, and support Group Officers in their roles as System representatives.


  • Demonstrates and maintains policy, report, and accounting knowledge by staying current on policies, reports, and accounting changes, and analyzing the impact of these changes.


  • Actively coaches, motivates, and mentors team members; Identifies and develops succession candidates and staff; Provides timely feedback to team members and colleagues.


  • Sets and upholds performance standards; Ensures the consistent application of merit, variable pay and promotion across the Group.


  • Encourages experimentation through prudent risk-taking and the exploration of alternative approaches to improve processes; Acts as a change advocate to implement new business processes.


  • Cultivates a collaborative and inclusive work environment.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, economics, business, finance, statistics, data science or a related field


  • Typically requires 7+ years of related work experience; 5+ years of experience in leadership or project management


  • Experience building, leading, and mentoring a diverse and high performing team


  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong relationship building skills


  • A growth approach, sense of curiosity, and dedication to the team’s success


  • Accounting and/or financial reporting experience


  • Strong time management and organizational skills shown by consistently meeting targets and balancing shifting priorities


  • Knowledge of automated systems, databases and applications used for large scale data collections, data analysis and visualization


  • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen


Preferred:


  • Advanced degree


  • Accounting and/or financial reporting experience within banking


Base Salary Range: Min: $126,300 - Mid: $163,900 - Max: $201,600 (Location: San Francisco) 

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
