Job Description:

Our client, a scientific non-profit, is looking for a Scientific Programs Assistant to join their team for a 6+ month, fulltime contract opportunity. This is a remote opportunity that requires about 10% domestic travel for important meetings and events.

As a Scientific Programs Assistant, you will help support the organization's members through providing excellent customer service, and there will also be a heavy data entry and data management aspect to this role, so attention to detail is important. The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in STEM and strong verbal and written communication skills. Bonus points for any administrative experience surrounding the abstract, manuscript, and research submission processes at a scientific or research organization .

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a heavy data entry and customer service role
• Scientific non-profit, research organization, or STEM industry experience is strongly preferred
• Must have polished verbal and written communication
• Experience working within Project Management software (Asana preferred)
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Comfortable in a Mac environment
