Role description:

This is an immediate opportunity to support our Construction Management group in the New York City Metro area. Our team is looking for someone to join our amazing team who has solid leadership; technical, organizational, and communication skills along with a proven track record in scheduling.

Role accountabilities:


  • Ability to find the critical path on projects, cost load projects.
  • Support the detailed scheduling effort for assigned projects within the Primavera P6 enterprise
  • Professionally interface with internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with construction staff, design staff.
  • Ability to independently manage schedule baselines for a project and perform earned value analysis management
  • Analyze and forecast business needs for both demand and supply capability
  • Ability to maintain and update an Alternative Schedule in .XER format. The Alternative Schedule must incorporate Change Order schedule fragnets to determine the impact the proposed construction contract Change Order has on contract milestones and overall Project completion, and must incorporate fragnets of delays caused by the contractor, delays caused by the city, and concurrent delays into the Alternative Schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience planning and/or scheduling engineering projects using Primavera P6
  • Ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor project performance
  • Proficiency planning and scheduling projects in construction industry
  • Works well in a team environment and is self-motivated, responsible, proactive, and reliable

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88,000- $132,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
