RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Agile Project Manager in Doral, FL.

Summary:
The AppDev Project Manager is a leadership role within IT and is responsible for all aspects of technical projects from concept through deployment while ensuring their assigned projects are well managed and that the project goals are delivered via the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC). This individual ensures that the projects meet or exceed expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and quality. This position manages relationships with multiple stakeholders. This individual identifies risks and issues and leads the team to resolution and/or escalation. This position collects, measures, reports, and communicates project status with the project team and IT leadership.

The AppDev PM manages multiple medium dollar, medium risk projects in support of ship and/or shore initiatives. Each project/program team could include up to 20 matrixed resources with a typical budget of up to $1 million. Projects are medium in scope with multiple (internal and external) stakeholders. Projects are typically less complex and may involve multiple application and database technologies, infrastructure platforms (cloud and on-prem), and system interfaces.

Essential Functions:


  • Report to product team manager - Estimation, planning and continuous improvement

  • Master of scrum of scrums - Collaboration and customer satisfaction

  • Produce scrum of scrum status reports, identify overlaps and bottlenecks, if any

  • Work with the program manager on resolution of any project issues and concerns







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

  • Formal training and certification in the system development life cycle and project management is preferred; PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, Scrum Master certification is a plus; Technical certificates such as Microsoft (e.g., Azure DevOps, Power Platform), Oracle, Cisco certification a plus

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in information technology infrastructure and/or application implementations

  • Experience with a variety of technology solutions such as custom development, SaaS, COTS, cloud, digital, or mobile

  • Experience managing complex releases

  • Strong experience in technology planning, project planning, team leadership

  • Background and experience in IT technologies and managing application implementations

  • Experience supporting the whole lifecycle of applications development and implementation

  • Experience developing project estimates and resource plans

  • Experience conducting project meetings and subsequently documenting/distributing meeting minutes and action items, including responsibilities for same, in a timely manner

  • Knowledge and experience in Web and Mobile technology

  • Basic knowledge of data architecture such as data lake, MDM, BI, or analytics

  • Global perspective - accustomed to doing business around the world and comfortable working with professionals with diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, including remotely or on ships

  • Excellent communication, team building, conflict management, organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications in U.S. English; Intermediate fluency in Italian and/or German and/or Spanish are pluses

  • Ability to document coherent and concise project status reports including issues and risks

  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations

  • Experience implementing technology in support of cruise line businesses is significant plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
