Qualifications
As a photographer / videographer you will:
Capture high-quality images, both still and video, ranging from studio work, environmental portraits, statewide campus environments, student life, science and research, outreach, special events, presentations, editorial, and other photography and/or videography for a wide range of marketing materials and events, including digital, print, and social media.
Collaborate with team members to concept and produce videos that advance the reputation of the Institute.
Manage the digital asset management (DAM) system by adding and maintaining approved images and videos.
Maintains the in-house studio and related equipment.
Work closely with team members and partners to support the mission of the division and the overall mission of the UT Institute of Agriculture.
Required Education/Experience:
Associates Degree in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, and/or Photojournalism
2-5 years of experience working as a photographer and videographer in a marketing and communications or journalism setting, or as a freelancer.
Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, and/or Photojournalism
5-7 years of experience working as a photographer/videographer in a marketing and communications or journalism setting, or as a freelancer.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
Excellent Writing skills
Ability to conceptualize themes.
Write scripts for video production.
