What We're Looking For:
The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Director and is responsible for providing accounting support to various projects


and business units within the organization. The role involves reviewing financial reports, reconciling accounts, analyzing variances,


ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and assisting with audits.


Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing various month-end close activities, including timely preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations

• Key role in financial and overhead audit activities

• Continually evaluating and optimizing month-end close processes to deliver process automation and improved accuracy

• Participating in the preparation and review of internal controls and the corresponding policies and procedures that improve the overall operation and reduce risks of the business

• Handling accounting operations responsibilities including lease accounting, amortization schedules, AP, bank reconciliations

• Expense report processing and payroll processing backup

Education & Experience Qualifications:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, Financial Analyst, Project Accountant (or similar role) preferably in a corporate finance or financial services environment.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.

• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial principles.

• Great communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy and integrity in financial analysis and reporting.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP and payroll systems
