Job Description:
Provides bookkeeping and secretarial support to a department or center.
- Answers and directs calls and visitors; provides customer service to students.
- Prepares correspondence and reports.
- Provides secretarial support to faculty and departmental staff.
- Assists with scheduling and coordinating projects and events.
- Prepares purchase requisitions and vouchers, travel requests and vouchers, and other accounting forms for department.
- Processes deposits for payments.
- Reconciles university credit card purchases, and prepares associated expense reports.
- Assists with departmental time reporting and payroll processing.
- Maintains and updates departmental files and logs; updates departmental databases.
- Inventories and orders office supplies.
- Serves as department property custodian; monitors and completes annual inventory of capital assets.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
