Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Columbus, IN. This position is responsible for leading data utilization improvements; analyzes business data issues either system or processing; develops viable solutions to remediate operational risk; implements efficiencies and data integrity controls; collaborates; communicates and is liaison between the business area and other departments to generate consistency across the organization. This position relies on strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.        

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  •  Gathers data from multiple internal and external sources and analyzes business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users.

  • Analyzes complex business problems and assesses how automated systems can be implemented to solve them.

  • Compiles detailed reports using data reporting tools and provides insights based on findings.

  • Communicates analysis results and makes recommendations to Senior Management.

  • Engages in proactive risk identification through collaboration with lines of business and peers and presents matters of concern to management for awareness.

  • Provides support for regulatory and compliance activities.

  • Updates, modifies, develops, and automates new reports using query and data visualization tools.

  • Participates on cross-functional projects, working with individual contributors as well senior managers.

  • Drives continual process improvements, delivering increasing operational efficiencies.

  • Acts as liaison between business area, IT, and other departments 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)


  • Associate's Degree in Related Field

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
