PRIMARY FUNCTION


To develop, organize and conduct formal, technical training material and programs to external and internal customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, develop and organize training programs and materials to support the strategic goals of the LEA Service organization.
  • Develop and instruct in-person, web-based, and e-learning training programs for various audiences including distributors, end-users, and internal personnel.
  • Development/ creation of technical training materials for use in classroom and web based training.
  • Lead and coach students (internal and external customers) in educational process.
  • Prepare written training support materials, develop multi-media and e-learning training materials, and develop interactive hands-on labs to reinforce learning goals with support of curriculum team
  • Supervise the preparation of classrooms, content delivery system, labs and demonstration equipment prior to training programs.
  • Evaluate and maintain professional presentations and lectures on safety and automated systems.
  • Present skilled and safe demonstrations of automation equipment.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of internal and external training programs.
  • Implement and manage the changes of training materials, itineraries and equipment used in training programs to reflect the latest in equipment and technology.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.



BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years experience in education or training - Preferred
  • 2 years experience in robotics and/or automation environment - Preferred
  • Hands-on electrical, mechanical, or welding experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience working in team-oriented environments
  • Experience working independently with little supervision and adapting to a dynamic agenda
  • Computer experience in presentation development and delivery - Preferred
  • Competency in computer software applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience utilizing strong writing, speaking and organizational skills.
  • Experience interacting and working well with all levels of an organization.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree and 2 years work experience, OR Associate degree and 4 years work experience preferred, OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years customer facing experience preferred.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Repetition with activity; computer work. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.



WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is at manufacturing facilities. Proper person protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times while in certain areas of the manufacturing facilities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low.
