Essential Functions of the Job: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Assist the site maintenance team in the enhancement, ongoing implementation and general oversight of effective maintenance systems that ensure all manufacturing equipment performs to its maximum capacity at lowest cost.
Effectively prioritize, plan and schedule maintenance shift work
Provide effective supervision of the maintenance hourly workforce including recognition and accountability, communication, and employee relations.
Support line operations to achieve key performance measures (ex: Sq ft/hr, quality, cost, downtime, and scrap).
Support plant safety and environmental goals through established programs and procedures (touch audits, safety corrective actions/preventative actions, incident investigations, ergonomic program, safety training, etc.)
Drive adherence to all OSHA regulations including but not limited to: Lock Out, Tag Out; Hot Work; Elevated Work; Confined Space, etc.
Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned to him/her on an as needed basis.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Maintenance hourly employees will report to this position.

Minimal
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years or greater experience in industrial maintenance.
Previous supervisory experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
A successful candidate must be able to self-direct with little managerial oversight.
Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling maintenance work.
Must be able and willing to transfer knowledge to all levels of the organization.
Good computer skills and the ability to effectively use various information systems.
Understanding of and demonstrated experience with elements of effective maintenance systems.
Ability to work multiple shifts (including a weekend shift if one evolves in the future).
Strong PLC and industrial electrician aptitude
