  • Shift Differential: $0.35 for working afternoon or night shift.

  • Starting pay range: $25.00/hr - $28.50/hr
  • Top pay: $35.00/hr
  • Available shift/schedule: 8 hours Mon-Fri

Purpose & Scope:

Supports production by making and/or repairing parts using machinery and hand tools.

Core Functions:


  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced in assigned production area.
  • Follows the directions/instructions of the team leader and/or supervisor.
  • Laying out work, setting up and operating machine tools, and performing any dismantling, fitting, or assembly work required for plant maintenance or construction.
  • Interprets mechanical drawings, plans working procedure, performs layout work, and make sketches of parts as required.
  • Monitors all assigned machines.
  • Utilizes various measuring tools to ensure products are conformed to visual and dimensional specifications.
  • Performs related assignments such as making minor pipefitting repairs, lubricating machines and equipment, filling out work tickets and maintenance reports.

General Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S required.
  • Advanced mathematical and mechanical skills.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with setting up and operating manual engine lathes and knee type mills.
  • Experience with machining new parts based on interpretations of dimension taken from a worn part.
  • Strong attention to detail along with ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry35 pounds or more.
  • 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment or related education preferred.
