The Gilboa-Conesville Central School District is accepting applications for the following position: Custodian - Full-time, 12-month probationary position, Salary & benefits per Non-Teaching - Contract - starting at $33,280. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The custodian will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Additional duties include emptying trash, restocking supplies, and performing minor maintenance and repairs as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The custodian may also be required to assist with setting up for events, moving furniture, and ensuring the school grounds are well-maintained. Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred, but not required. This position is crucial in supporting a healthy and productive learning environment for the entire school community.
