The successful candidate will be joining an aspirational business.
• Reporting into the Sr HR Director, Global Manufacturing, this role is critical in the end-to-end People responsibilities for the Global Supply Chain, as well as supporting the Development agenda of Supply Chain at a time of significant transformation. The successful candidate will have frequent exposure to the Gloabl Supply Chain team, as well as the Global HR team.

Role Responsibilities

• Manages the internal and external recruiting process for all employees including partnering with management as needed to understand skills and competencies for open positions, interviewing and oversight of new hire orientation
• Partner with leaders on building our future leaders through robust succession and development planning.
• Lead organization development and change management for site
• Lead Employee Relations including investigations, disciplinary action and termination
• Prepare presentations for meetings, plant communications on video monitors and people metrics
• Responsible for maintaining a strong union relationship that consist of regular meetings, grievance meetings, etc.
• Lead Union/Company contract negotiations and partner with site leadership on long-term labor strategy

• • Roll out HR initiatives and programs in collaboration with Global Manufacturing network and HR Centers of Excellence (e.g. performance, merit, engagement, etc).
• Lead site D&I agenda and support education, participation, and involvement
• Support leaders on continuously building engagement and company pride among employee groups.
• Coach managers and employees on HR policies and processes, recommending solutions aligned to HR strategic direction.
• Ensure there is a robust communications plan in place utilizing effective communication channels.
• Builds strong relationships with internal managers and other team members with a focus on service.
• Accurately and positively represents the culture and values of the organization,
• Partners with other HR functions, such as Total Rewards, as needed to identify develop and deliver projects which align with business objectives.
• Manage all data input for job changes, promotions, benefits and related updates, as well as other org chart changes.

• Maintain compliance with federal, USVI and local employment laws and regulations
• Interpret all HR policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement ensuring equity and consistency across the site
• Support broader HR network as needed
• Support and be an advocate of continuous improvement initiatives that improve the safety, quality and efficiency of our operations
• Safety is everyone's responsibility: identify risks and report violations, near misses, or injuries immediately
• Knowledge of GMP's, safety standards, quality standards and demonstrated ability to react communicate effectively to issues
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

5-7 years of HR experience in a union environment
• Strong analytical ability, including knowledge to interpret data and provide recommendations.
• Demonstrated change management skills
• Experience in a matrixed environment
• Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Power Point)
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
