Job Description:

DHHS is looking for an Eligibility Operations Supervisor who demonstrates excellent customer service skills, has a high personal standard of integrity, and is action oriented. Strong time management, problem solving, written communication, and planning skills are essential. The successful candidate will participate in and support a culture where employees are highly motivated, energetic, excited and enthusiastic working for DHHS.


Duties • Monitoring performance and behavior • Accountability of team and direct reports • Coaching, and mentoring your team • Provide case consultation to teammates • Collect and analyze data from numerous reports • Track your team's performance • Conduct staff meetings • Navigate multiple computer systems • Resolve customer complaints



Requirements / Qualifications:




Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework/training in: social work; counseling/guidance; psychology; sociology; human development; mental health care; education; or closely related areas AND experience in a social service organization with responsibility for determining eligibility for public assistance and/or social services programs; case management; resource development; or related social service functions; experience in supervision and employee performance evaluation or program analysis/evaluation; or policy development.



Preferred Qualifications: Prefer 2 years of experience with Medicaid & Long-Term Care and some experience with supervision, training, or mentoring.



Other: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
