How will you make an impact? 
In this role you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for manufacturing systems, training systems, trouble shooting and for the organization of supporting systems applications and production processes ready for implementation throughout the facility. The incumbent is this role is typically considered the “power user” of the manufacturing and production application.

What will you do? 

• Serve as the functional expert for all manufacturing related systems and tools.




• Work with other SME’s to implement Jabil best practices in the site.




• Work with site and regional IT on testing and implementation of upgrades and new functionality.




• Provide regular updates to appropriate managers.




• Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).




• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.




• Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field”.




• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.

How will you get here?  

Education:

• HS Diploma and/or GED required




• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of Manufacturing Production and Manufacturing Project Management experience in the application of or area of specialty or equivalent formal training in application or specialty




• Manufacturing supervision experience preferred but not required




• Must have advanced Excell, SAP, data bases, BI systems and applications




• Good communication skills - fluent in English (speak/write), good problem resolution defining goals and necessary skills and logical analytical thinking to debate issues providing mutual solutions




• Skills in team and project management, such as scheduling, task management, and defining project parameters, are required.




• Experience with Jabil process a plus
