BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Printer Break Fix/Field Service Technician in Bogalusa LA 70427.


Position Title: Printer Break Fix/Field Service Technician


Location: Bogalusa LA 70427


Anticipated Start Date: Tentative start Date 08/29/2024

Expected Duration: 02 years Contract with a strong possibility of extension


Job Type: Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [ONSITE]


Pay Range: $25/hr - $26/hr

Requirements:

Break-fix, Field Service, Troubleshooting

Job Description:

• Work onsite at customer property (not remotely unless told otherwise)


• Represent HPI interests and be a liaison with the local customer management team


• Report customer dissatisfaction to the Client Mgr (CM) and HP account team


• Attend account calls as directed and provide feedback on activities


• Proactive monitoring of customer's printer fleet utilizing FMA and other tools


• Assist end users with device functionality


• Perform initial troubleshooting


• Perform maintenance on devices as directed by CM


• Coordinate with HP Support when service is required


• Coordinate with HP with SW branded support


• Ensure adequate consumables are available at customer sites


• Assist with device(s) deployment/replacement as directed


• Track usage/activities at customer sites to better understand their needs


• Assist with the collection of usage pages per devices as needed


• Miscellaneous duties as directed by CM and account team


• Install toner onsite


• Manage offsite storage unit


• Break/fix services for supported print devices as requested by Customer (ex: Glass Cleanings, Fuser Replacement, Waste Toner Collection, Transfer Kits, Roller Cleaning & Replacements, Jam Clearing, Maint Kit Replacement, Tray Adjustments, Drum Replacements, ADF Cleaning, Print Quality Issues)

OSA Individual Technician Responsibilities:

• Provide Cell Phone for communication


• Provide Vehicle for transportation to surrounding Jackson MS facilities


• Proper Dress Code: Khaki/Slacks/Collared Shirt/Comfortable Walking Shoes
