Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing material handling warehouses, with expertise in incorporating automation and robotics into their plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• AutoCAD Drafter will develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for material handling warehouses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards


• Design and integrate automation systems and robotic solutions into warehouse layouts


• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to refine designs and resolve technical issues


• As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will ensure designs optimize space utilization and efficiency while meeting safety and regulatory requirements


• Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and project specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8-10 years of professional experience with AutoCAD, focusing on material handling and warehouse design


• Demonstrated expertise in integrating automation and robotics within warehouse environments


• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including layout, logistics, and material flow


• Proficiency in interpreting and creating detailed technical drawings and schematics


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other CAD software or design tools


• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in warehouse automation and robotics


• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for warehouse design and automation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
