Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Admin RHEL Clustering and Automation in Kennett Square, PA.

Key Tasks:

• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure system security and efficiency


• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues


• Creating user accounts and managing access control


• Installing and upgrading software and operating systems


• Performing regular backups and ensuring data integrity


• Collaborating with network engineers to ensure smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure


• Providing technical support and guidance to users


• Documenting system configurations and changes


• Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems and data


• Conducting periodic system audits and ensuring compliance with security policies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have BA or BS in a related IT concentration or other concentration minimum


• At least 6-8 years of System Admin exp (Oracle, Unix, Linux, Clustering, etc.)


• Experience with Ansible, especially supporting build and patch automation for RHEL and OEL


• Experience with Red Hat PCS clustering


• Expert in Unix system administration


• Red Hat Linux


• Oracle Linux


• Storage administration (ZFS, LVM, Veritas)


• Ability to create original script/programs for system administration in at least one of these languages: Bourne shell, Perl, Python, Java

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
