The Opportunity
As a Lab Pack Plant Chemist, you will be receiving, identifying, and de-packing lab packs as they enter the facility.
1st Shift Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensure proper classification, identification, packaging, and labeling of hazardous waste for transportation, treatment, and/or disposal.
- De-pack lab pack quantities.
- Conduct daily compliance and area inspections.
- Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies
- Complete all regulatory paperwork to ensure environmental compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
- Perform bulk consolidation and lab pack consolidation.
- Sample containers and in-house created materials.
- Respond to spills and other emergencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent applicable work experience.
- Hazardous waste experience is a plus.
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
