GENERAL MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE IN BLOOMINGDALE, GA



Volt is immediately hiring for a General Maintenance Associate in Bloomingdale, GA




As a General Maintenance Associate, you will be:

• Maintaining cleaning stations, janitorial areas & supplies in 5-S manor.
• Stocking inventory to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.
• Moving heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Setting up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as meetings or banquets.
• Operating and maintaining a wide variety of mechanical tools.
• Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches, and outlets, incandescent, and fluorescent bulbs, and tubes, ballast, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Preparing and painting various structures and equipment (e.g., walls, concrete, doors, restroom facilities, etc.).
• Preforming preventative maintenance and repairs on the buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures, and HVAC system.
• Researching, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team

This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.



The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrate general mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
• Knowledgeable in construction and building maintenance.
• Ability to work at heights.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
