Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Fleet Coordinator


Position type: Full-Time, Contract

Duration: 6 Month (with possible extension)

Location: Remote


As Fleet Coordinator, your responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for the successful execution of United States & Canada Fleet & Driver Safety daily operations.
  • This position will collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams and work directly with our Enterprise and Regional Leaders to ensure they have the fleet vehicles necessary to support the profitable growth of the business.
  • This position will also be responsible for regulatory and DOT compliance management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic (25%)
  • Partner with Fleet Leader to participate in annual field visits with fleet drivers to evaluate ongoing fleet vehicle and aftermarket equipment needs.
  • Participate in supplier meetings and annual reviews.
  • Identify cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide remediation recommendations when fleet is not meeting performance targets.
  • Support EHS business initiatives through research, recommendations, planning, and management of alternative fuel vehicle programs.
  • Participate in informational and educational fleet industry events.
Administrative (25%)
  • Understand and administer company vehicle policies & procedures.
  • Monitor and review reporting dashboards to track fleet performance against established metrics.
  • Utilize supplier systems to ensure fleet vehicle inventory is up to date and properly assigned.
  • Own and resolve field escalations as they arise in the normal course of business directly with suppliers.
  • Utilize fleet tools and resources available to proactively identify and resolve potential issues causing delays in fleet service to drivers (example: order and delivery delays, license renewal).
  • Compile and deliver monthly fleet expense reporting.
  • Develop, administer, collect, and summarize fleet communications and surveys.
Operational (50%)
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance repair request and provide approvals from fleet policies.
  • Vehicle collision claim management.
  • Administer driver safety training.
  • Resale fleet vehicle processing and follow-up.
  • Fuel program administration.
  • DOT compliance & administration.
  • Participate in all acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture projects to ensure all fleet needs are meet and delivered on time according to project needs and timelines.
  • Partner with suppliers to identify specifications for cab, chassis, and upfit new vehicle ordering needs annually.
Additional Qualifications
  • 2-year college degree or 3 + years' equivalent experience in fleet or safety management programs.
  • Fleet Industry Certification's is a plus (CAFM, CAFS).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and procedures is a plus.
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders concisely.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and reprioritize multiple times a day as needed.
  • Presentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Team of 2 fleet management duties - class 8 vehicle i.e. tractor-trailer
  • Role: someone who is comfortable and focuses on responding to emails.
  • They will receive 100- 120 emails a day From driver managers
  • For Vehicle replacement, maintenance equipment (tractor-trailers)
  • Tools - database and fleet management system
  • Respond to driver managers
  • 3-5 years of exp would be ideal
  • Tools - using Excel Heavily, Teams, Outlook, and databases(they will train)
  • EST would be ideal, but if a good candidate can consider
Top skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or Ged

Pay Range*: $22 - 27 per Hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
