Overview: This position's main functions are to assist with all Receiving operations, to aid in creating the most accurate receipts possible, to insure that products are delivered on time and in the quantity requested by the customers, to maintain a productive work pace and to complete projects as assigned in a productive and accurate manner.
Becomes OSHA certified on all equipment used in receiving
Completes daily forklift operator's checklist before operating equipment
Signs out forklift equipment on log out sheet
Reports any damage or needed repairs on equipment to a member of management
Unloads floor loaded cartons from containers and trailers
Floor loads cartons from conveyor into trailer
Sorts cartons by SKU on to pallets
Understands all scanner functions in receiving
Runs receiving reports in Oracle
Aids in training and increasing performance of the Receiving team
Complies with GEAR's attendance policy; Reliable, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position

Observes safety and security procedures

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or 2 years of Receiving related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel.
