Compensation:



The pay range for this position is $24.86/hour to $28.78/hour plus production bonus. Teammates in this role average $88K- $120K a year.




Basic Job Functions:




Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Maintenance Lead. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Drive excellence in safety, housekeeping and environmental stewardship.
• Responsible for leading the Maintenance Team in planning and execution of effective maintenance processes, identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities and project management.
• Participate in team member selection
• Train and develop of Team Members
• Coordinate with operations teams
• Provide technical expertise regarding electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Failure analysis/troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment
• Individual must demonstrate courage when dealing with peers and other Teammates. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork while maintaining compliance.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Requirements:




• Minimum 5 years previous industrial maintenance experience
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment




Preferences:




• Experience in hiring, training, and developing maintenance teammates
• 2 years industrial experience in automation and controls
• Knowledge and experience with Preventative and Predictive maintenance techniques
