The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensuring our products meet the requirements of the customer by reducing non-conformances while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.


• Leading and supporting projects to reduce scrap and address root causes of nonconformances


• Participating in rebranding activities at the plant


• Leading quality investigations and author supporting documentation


• Being a critical team member in service execution


• Working with supplier quality and vendors to ensure conforming input material is delivered to the manufacturing lines

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher within a Science Discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

• High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of experience within a quality manufacturing environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Root cause investigation and CAPA experience.


• Team and/or project leadership experience.


• Skills including organization, resilience, collaboration, and curiosity.

Work location:

• On site in Brookings, SD

Travel: May include up to (10%)(domestic)

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $79,828 - $97,567, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
