Job Description:

What you will do:

As our Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing operating results, and supporting management in meeting or exceeding financial expectations. 

How you will do it:


  • Responsible for payroll processing and reconciliation of payroll reports to ensure correct payment of wages to employees, accuracy of payroll related records and reports. Field employee questions as needed.   


  • Responsible for Accounts Payable functions including creation of purchase requisitions, purchase order maintenance, invoice submissions/approvals and vendor communications to resolve questions and issues.


  • Assists with preparation of periodic forecasts, outlooks and analyses. Presents financial information to senior management as required.


  • Ability to prepare summarized financial information from detailed accounting records. Maintain adequate back-up/support for key assumptions.


  • Understands and performs cycle counts and aged inventory reviews. Provides detailed support of annual physical inventories.


  • Prepares and analyzes monthly closing reports and journal entries, payroll, scrap, inventory, and variance reports.


  • Prepares/reviews account reconciliations, including accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding reconciling items.


  • Tracks capital spending, including reporting monthly activity, explaining forecast variations and finalizing projects during capitalization process.


  • Assists in preparing plant operating budgets and reviews actual against budgeted performance. Analyzes and explains deviations.


  • Identifies, recommends, and resolves issues and process improvement opportunities.


  • Executes timely and accurate preparation of all accounting /financial results.


  • Develops analysis and reporting tools to support.


  • Adherence to internal control policies and procedures including SOX compliance.


What we look for:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Similar Discipline.


  • 2 years of experience preferred with increasing responsibility in financial roles.


  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and the drive to take action to implement change as agreed upon by management.


  • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including Advanced Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Kronos, ADP or Workday a plus.
