Location: Crystal Lake, IL

Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $88.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Packaging Engineering for a 12 month + contract.

• We are looking for someone who is passionate, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of packaging regulations and best practices


Responsibilities
• Lead the development and optimization of packaging systems for a diverse portfolio of medical devices
• Utilize expertise and creativity to design and implement innovative packaging solutions
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand packaging requirements and develop effective solutions
• Conduct packaging testing and validation to ensure quality and functionality
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in packaging processes
• Continuously evaluate and improve packaging processes and procedures
• Mentor and guide other packaging engineers and team members
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in packaging technology
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding packaging design and development
• Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines and resource allocation
• Troubleshoot and resolve any packaging issues that arise during production
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of packaging materials, equipment, and technologies
• Contribute to the development of packaging standards and guidelines
