Basic Job Functions:



Nucor Warehouse Systems- GA has an opening for Shipping Operator. Safety is the most important part of all jobs at Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The key responsibilities of the Shipping Operator include but are not limited to:


1. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program.


2. Responsible for following all legal requirements


3. Load trucks and containers with finished goods and complete associated paperwork


4. Keep updated records of inventory


5. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies


6. General labor duties that may include but not limited to: sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment and physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.


7. Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other teammates as needed.


8. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
