Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route

  • Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to

  • Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.

  • Contact carrier representatives to arrange or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of

  • Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting

  • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of

  • Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be

  • Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.

  • Compare shipping routes or methods to determine which have the least environmental

  • Use appropriate software system to verify status of

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of MRL Equipment

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S

  • Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as

  • Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment

  • Will be performing all DOT inspections on incoming chassis.

Education and Work Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 

  • Must have a current CDL

  • A minimum of 1-year work related experience working in inventory/receiving.

  • A minimum of 1-year experience working under DOT regulations, performing inspections on equipment.

  • Be able to lift a maximum of 50

  • Must be able to pass Forklift Certification process

  • Possess basic computer operating and data entry skills with knowledge of shipping

  • Ability to use pallet jack and overhead crane

Must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug screening.  (**we do not test for THC**)
