Job Description:

Position Summary: A full time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours working in the store plus miscellaneous hours. All store managers must work weekends including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The store manager oversees and maintains proper store systems and procedures in order to maximize sales. This work includes developing and supervising superior employees and maintaining an atmosphere of fun, excitement and humor, promoting the philosophy that making money can be fun as well as a challenge.This is a Full Time position requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week including nights, weekends, holidays and a non-traditional work schedule.

Employees Directly Supervised: 1-3 Assistant Managers, 5 or more Sales Associates/Photographers.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
1. Sales and Customer Service
a. Entice customer/guest into store and to buy products.
b. Show customer/guest all available products.
c. Help customer/guest select products to purchase.
d. Collect payments for purchases, following company procedures for checks and credit card authorizations.
e. Work effectively with more than one customer at a time.
f. Resolve customer problems with tact and diplomacy.
g. Assist customer/guest with refunds and/or exchanges using tact and diplomacy and following company procedures.
h. Follow and enforce S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures).
2. Picture-taking
a. Take picture using proper techniques and methods.
b Process picture correctly.
3. Staffing
a. Interview, hire, train, motivate store employees.
b. Monitor, coach, appraise and counsel employee performance.
4. Training
a. Train employees in sales techniques, cash register use, computer input, camera and heat press operation, cash handling procedures, customer service
skills, company policies and procedures.
b. Train all employees on S.O.P. for your location.
c. Re-train staff when necessary.
5. Operations
a. Maintain company uniform standards in the store.
b. Supervise store employees.
c. Oversee appearance and cleanliness of store, displays, employees.
d. Maintain safety procedures.
e. Make all bank deposits.
f. Submit sales, payroll, schedules and other reports to home office as required.
g. Maintain good relations with the landlord and their personnel.
6. Inventory
a. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and keep accurate, updated inventory records..
b. Maintain equipment in proper working order; replace equipment when necessary.
c. Keep accurate records of equipment serial numbers.
7. Payroll
a. Run weekly payroll sheet, checking to be sure time cards are complete and correct.
b. Monitor employee sales and bonus structure.
c. Report all payroll and staffing changes to the home office payroll department.
d. Make sure time sheets are signed.
e. Distribute employee paychecks.
8. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications
Education: high school diploma or equivalent; some college and/or training in motivation and management helpful.

Experience: minimum of 1 year as Colorvision manager or equivalent experience in other retail management position.

Certification/Licensure: none

Special skills: outgoing, friendly personality; able to lead, guide and motivate employees; strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; conflict resolution skills; willing to lean; understanding of sales and payroll ratios; money-handling skills; computer skills; the ability to work as a team with co-workers.

Other requirements: Able to work a minimum of 40 hours in the store and additional miscellaneous hours to do payroll, inventory, displays, etc., Must also have the flexibility to work additional hours when necessary in order to maximize store productivity. Able to provide own transportation to fulfill requirements of the job; successfully passing a background check.

Environmental Demands: Work is performed in small, confined space. Indoor stores are in temperature-controlled environments that are frequently noisy. Outdoor stores are subject to extremes of heat, cold, humidity and noise.

Physical Requirements: This job requires standing & walking for long periods of time, frequently walking up and down steps, reaching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting items up to 50 pounds with assistance, manual dexterity, carrying a camera with an attached strap worn around neck weighing approx. two (2) pounds, hearing and speaking understandably and ability to project voice over a crowd.
Mental Requirements: This job requires a positive enthusiastic approach, good judgment, ability to entice customers to take their picture, ability to work under stress, ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, reading, performing simple math functions, hearing and speaking understandably. It also requires the ability to cooperate and work as a team with co-workers.
Equipment/Machinery Used: The nature of this work generally requires use of a computer keyboard, camera, tripod, cash register, printers, fax machine, calculator, telephone, credit card machine, reliable transportation, cleaning supplies, small hand tools, heat press, television monitor, vacuum cleaner.
