Job Description:

Job Summary:

ITS, LLC. is seeking a successful candidate as a Systems Administrator to support the United States Space Force (SSC) and related space organizations in the Product Support Facility (PSF) at Peterson SFB, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with administering 12 Windows servers and 1 NetApp File server supporting 1800 users to include Patch Management
• Maintain the enterprise backup infrastructure and disaster recovery resources using Vertias NetBackup and Spectra Logic Tape library
• Maintain PowerShell repository of locally written scripts to aid Help Desk Technicians in ticket resolutions
• Provide file server management (including permissions management, data size management, and policy enforcement) and perform data leak and information cleanup procedures
• Provide Tier III technical support to Help Desk Operations
• Assist with technical requirements/rack drawings and electronic bulletin board management
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
• Support VMWare servers for 50 clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be career-level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts
• Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
• PowerShell script writing and Windows Server OS experience preferred

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma with 10 years Sys Admin experience
• Associate with 8 Years Sys Admin Experience
• IAT Level 2 Certification (Security CE)

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance

Salary Note:
