Hall’s Culligan of Ontario is hiring an experienced, dedicated Commercial & Industrial Sales Professional to join our team.


The Commercial and Industrial Sales Professional works to partner with organizations throughout the Ontario area to determine the best water solutions to fit their business. Our ideal candidate will possess a background in manufacturing or commercial sales, construction, plumbing, or similar background.


The Commercial and Industrial Sales Professional will be skilled at presenting and interacting with decision makers and executives. Building relationships will be the key to success. They will grow their book of business through warm leads, referrals, and by prospecting potential customers. Our customers are in every industry including factories, schools, hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. There is unlimited potential to gain new customers in the region!

Responsibilities:



  • Grow the existing customer base by prospecting local businesses and new construction projects, and following up on all sales leads.

  • Establish relationships with local engineers, contractors, construction managers, and business owners/operators

  • Bidding on projects/creating RFPs and ensuring we stay within proposal deadlines

  • Working with customers to increase the life span and be cost-effective with equipment


Qualifications:



  • Proven sales experience in an industrial or business-to-business (B2B) setting

  • Familiarity with water treatment is preferred but not required

  • Must be a self-starter with initiative, intuition, and familiarity with consultative selling skills

  • Prior experience in B2B cold-calling required

  • Computer skills on most Microsoft Office applications are required

  • Must be able to produce-self generated sales each month

  • Strong organizational skills

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as a team and a burning desire to succeed

  • Strong business knowledge, professional presentation skills, and excellent problem solving abilities. The commission-focused sales professional generally is the most successful.
