We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and production of in-demand, high quality and impactful e-learning programs in the field of Information Technology (IT) and other content areas to be determined. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing multiple end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial concept to launch. Your expertise in project management within the education or technology sectors will be pivotal in driving the successful delivery of high-quality educational content via digital platforms.


As the Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including instructional designers, content developers, subject matter experts, and technical specialists. You will ensure that project objectives are clearly defined, and project plans are meticulously crafted to align with strategic goals and instructional outcomes. You will champion effective project execution by establishing clear timelines, allocating resources effectively, and monitoring project progress to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.


The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in e-learning or related fields. You will thrive in a dynamic environment where innovation and creativity are valued, leveraging your strong organizational skills and attention to detail to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement. Your ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential in facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and educational efficacy.


This role requires collaboration with organizational leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, near/offshore production teams, and subject matter experts to meet the needs of our students, partners, and employers.



GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversight and management of all planned projects and PD initiatives, including course and program upgrades/enhancements and any approved secondary PD team production (IT and Durable Skills).


  • Serve as a critical link between offshore and nearshore teams.


  • Gains productivity insights on contracted resources and holds team accountable for weekly/monthly outputs.


  • Establishes and manages key heath indicators within all projects and provides daily/weekly insights to stakeholders.


  • Creates rationale and reporting mechanism to illustrate health grades on all projects at all times.


  • Refines Quality Assurance (Q/A) standards and protocols across all self-produced content.


  • Ensure conformance with required and recommended Accessibility standards. Perform internal audits and manage external audits of course content.


  • Works with SME teams and MedCerts Learning and Development department to create in-house cert/program/licensure trainings for MedCerts team members.


  • Works with Program Directors and CPO to design optimal framework and delivery of New Program In-Services


  • Creates scalability/feasibility reports (time/resources/cost) based on current and expanded team capabilities based on various factors (length/breadth of content, learning element use, etc.)


  • With the pending launch of MedCerts-produced Course Authoring Tool, help create team workflows based on optimal efficiency through use of the tool.


  • Develops comprehensive project plans, monitors milestones, and identifies resource requirements/constraints.


  • Maintains daily log of contractor time/task and provides reporting on-demand as well as weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually.


  • Collaborates across departments on shared initiatives and serves as a PM resource if/as needed on related projects.


  • Adopts and integrates appropriate Project Management software to manage all current/future projects.


  • Identifies roadblocks and risks to the successful completion of a project and implements strategies to mitigate them.


  • Identifies efficiencies to be gained through cross-production, re-purposing of content, and consolidation of resources to reduce time/cost in development processes.


  • Ensures the PD team and contractors have the best tools and resources needed to succeed. In partnership with Instructional Designers, keeps informed about new authoring tools and general eLearning trends.


  • Coordinates and (co)leads weekly product meetings to provide updates, and drive interactions with key stakeholders.





REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.


  • Proven experience managing complex projects, particularly in e-learning or educational technology environments.


  • While not a requirement, due to the nature of the content being produced, candidates with knowledge of IT certification training are strongly preferred.


  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning development methodologies.


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.


  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.


  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset.


  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is preferred.


  • Must have superior verbal and written communication skills


  • Explicit accuracy and attention to detail in delivery of information


  • Must be 100% committed to Quality Assurance.


  • High comfort level with the use of technology for communication and task completion
