We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Manager to join the in the US Onshore sub-Buisness Group in our Oil, Gas & Power business unit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving growth, profitability, and commercial excellence in our operations. The key objectives include:
Maximizing commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract).
Commercialization of sub-Business Group service offerings to support business growth and strategy.
Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business.
Ensuring compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies.
Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues.
Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group/Project/Portfolio of Projects.
Managing the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group.
Implementing the commercial strategy for the Business Unit within the assigned project/sub-business group and ensuring alignment of objectives with the business unit strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountablities and Responsibilities
Promote and demonstrate safety leadership behaviors.

Champion and promote the application of the Financial Management Framework guidelines.
Lead and manage pre-award activities, compliance with Wood's commercial policies, risk management, contractual negotiation strategies, and contract administration.
Develop and implement project margin analysis and project commercial handover plans.
Manage project cashflow forecasts.
Oversee the preparation and delivery of contract close-out requirements.
Govern and implement the Financial Management Framework within the assigned project/sub-BG.
Align project/sub-BG specific commercial requirements with Wood's commercial processes and procedures.
Mentor commercial and project personnel in relation to commercial priciples.
Coordinate contract reviews and the development of qualifications/redlines.
Pursue claims on Wood's behalf and/or defend claims against Wood as required.
Level of Influence & Decision-Making Authority
Accountable for governance and assurance of commercial policies and processes within Sub-BG/Project Team and commercial delivery on tenders/projects.
Custodian of Delegation of Authority (DOA) within the assigned project/sub-BG.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
8-12 years of experience in a similar role with 4+ years of leadership/management experience.
Proven experience in contract administration, including change management.
Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.
Experience in contract negotiations.
Experience in claims & dispute resolution (pre and post-litigation experience preferred).
