Master Data Analyst at Vallourec in Youngstown, Ohio

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support operations by creating, monitoring and analyzing master data, key data and master relationship data within the organization


• Ensure quality of master data in key systems as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support on-going maintenance and data integrity


• In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, define and implement data strategy, policies, controls and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure and reliable


• Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.

 

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in industrial environment.


• Ability to create, implement, and facilitate highly independent project work.


• Knowledge use of continuous improvement methodologies


• Demonstrated skills in data administration, design and architecture


• Flexible and able to work within changing business conditions and technologies


• Detail-oriented mindset

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, engineering, or industrial management. Graduate degree a plus.

• Strong Microsoft Office suite (excel) skills


• Must have experience with SAP; PR/PO process, goods / services description, part number nomenclature a plus, other.
