Contract Chemistry / Marketing Assistant



Job Type: Contract (6-12 months)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM



Job Overview:



We are seeking an entry-level professional with a background in either chemistry or marketing to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is designed to support our department during a colleague's leave, with a focus on managing data and assisting with various day-to-day tasks.



Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Collect and format data from the lab, synthesize it, and prepare it for presentations using PowerPoint. Ensure that large amounts of data are made digestible and visually appealing.


• Website Updates: Maintain and update the company website with accurate literature and information sourced from internal databases, particularly from other regions.


• Research Support: Conduct research on topics such as heat transfer fluids, including grouping, application research, and testing requirements as needed.


• General Support: Assist with various day-to-day tasks within the department to ensure smooth operations during the maternity leave.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Marketing, or a related field is preferred


• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting or a corporate environment is preferred.


• Experience with data analysis and presentation is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, concise manner.


• Basic knowledge of web content management is desirable.
