Technical Repair II
Madison, AL
Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems/subsystems resulting from rejection data from tests performed.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings.
- Precision hand soldering/component repair of surface mount and through-hole components along with circuit board repair.
- Perform tests and debugging of electro-mechanical assemblies, and printed circuit boards.
- Test will be performed using various test methods and equipment to include but not limited to power supplies, digital multi-meters, and/or oscilloscope.
- Troubleshoot and repair/rework of nonconforming parts.
- Adjust and operate equipment and records repair data, pointing out deviations resulting from malfunctions or observational errors.
- Participate in discussions with technical and engineering personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- IPC 610 & J-STD 001 required
- Circuit board/component Repair required
- 1 to 5 years Experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to work in a high stressful environment including changing from one task to another.
- Able to lift material up to 30lbs.
- Able to obtain a safe and clean work environment.
- Strong computer skills with the use of Excel, Microsoft, and company operating system.
- Strong hands-on skills such as breadboarding, soldering, and circuit board repair and fabrication.
- Skill in the reading and layout of schematic drawings and the ability to translate them into printed wiring boards.
