Job Summary

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in helping Vistra embrace a culture of discovering and improving together by:​

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Facilitate the analyses and mapping of processes​




• Contribute to the design and implementation of process improvements​




• Identify improvement opportunities and inefficiencies​




• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement ideas for continuous improvement​




• Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement.​




• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain metrics to measure the success and impact of continuous improvement initiatives.​




• Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.​




• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the benefits of proposed changes and garner support.​




• Develop and deliver training programs to support a culture of learning, agility, and continuous improvement.​




• Advise and coach teams in executing improvement initiatives​




• Assist or lead multiple CI initiatives​




• Collaborate with CI initiative (kaizen) owners to achieve implementation of their improvement ideas​




• Utilize facilitation skills to enable teams to discover and improve together 

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement, Agile, Lean, Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Human & Organizational Performance (HOP), Change Management, or a related field –OR– Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Process Engineering, Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field​




• Experience with data visualization tools and business process mapping​




• Experience with training and/or facilitating​​




• Skills required: Problem solving, project management, organization, leadership, communication, training, facilitation, collaboration, and strategist ​​




• Highly desired certifications: Agile (Kanban, Scrum, etc.), Lean (kaizen, Shingo, Root Cause Analysis, etc.), or Six Sigma certification (any level). ​




• Helpful certifications: Business Process Management (BPM) certification, Project Management Professional certification (CAPM or PMP), or Change Management Professional certification (ACMP or CCMP)

Key Metrics

• Survey outcomes improve (employee engagement, training effectiveness, etc.) ​




• Improve Continuous Improvement culture ​




• Yearly Objectives & Key Results (OKR) met, typically including:​




• Operational Learning performed & learnings shared​




• Incremental improvement achieved through process optimization. ​




• Stakeholder satisfaction with implemented improvements.
