Position: Network Administrator

Proposed Hire Date: November 01, 2024

Brief Description of Position:  The Network Administrator is responsible to the Director of Technology Services for the continuity of network services for the campus by planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure components and operating systems in support of academic, student, and administrative services. The Network Administrator will also support the campus community by providing assistance to the end-user in the use of the campus network, and campus hardware and software dependent on network services. The network administrator will also work, as a team member, in the planning and development of the college’s information infrastructure and data security strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or related field required.
2. Three to Five years of experience in a network or technology support position required.
3. Combination of education and experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP and basic network services required.
5. Demonstrated computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting skills required.
6. Experience in server administration using current Windows server products required.
7. Demonstrated experience with the installation and configuration of network switches and routers required.
8. Experience with current Windows client operating systems required.
9. Good oral and written communication skills required.
10. Ability and desire to develop supervisory and team-building skills required.
11. Knowledge in Cyber Security Standards preferred.
12. Knowledge with O365 Administration is a plus.
13. MCSA or MCSE certification is a plus.

Salary:  Hiring Range ($4,134 – 4,479/monthly)
