Wege Pretzel, Hanover, Pa. is currently seeking a Lead Person on 2nd shift.
Oversees and leads employees to ensure compliance with quality and quantity product requirements, safety issues and housekeeping standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the production line areaOversees employees on the shiftPrepare schedules for the lineResponsible for productivity goals and standardsManages changeovers in a timely mannerEnsures the quality of the product is acceptable (meeting all the necessary standards) and works closely with Quality.Assists in managing raw materials used in productionEnsure employees receive their breaks in a fair and consistent mannerVerifies accuracy of all information on production reportsPrints stickersAssists in addressing disciplinary actions. Consults with management on the same.Responsible for the administration of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as, but not limited to: GMPs, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.Maintains a safe working environment by ensuring common safety practices and rules are adhered to, including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.Ensures work areas are kept clean orderlyPerforms other duties as assigned by Supervisor
