Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

TranSystems has an immediate opening for a Senior Relocation Agent who, under minimal to no supervision, performs basic right of way (ROW) project tasks for the temporary or permanent relocation of residential owners and tenants affected by public and private projects, in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations and serves as a representative of clients who have contracted with us to perform relocation project tasks.

 

Primary Responsibilities (others may be asigned): 


  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and proactive problem-solving

  • Serve as a lead; assists in delegating tasks and assignments

  • Working knowledge of local applicable regulations

  • Provides leadership and guidance to team members

  • Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of documents and submittals

  • Manage effective client communication Prepare status reporting for client

  • Prepare reports for milestone billing

  • Able to advise client of state and federal applicable regulations

  • Presenting at community meetings

  • Participate in project cost management

  • Relocation plan preparation

  • Review benefit calculations

  • Prepares cost estimates based on market research completed.

  • Maintains complete and accurate casefiles documentation and journal entries, pursuant to applicable regulations and project specific requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:


  • Valid Drivers’ License and the ability to provide valid proof of auto insurance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant degree program. Experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis.

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with right-of-way acquisition and/or relocation.

  • An understanding of USPAP and familiarity with the Uniform Relocation Act.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office 2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Proven experience in project leadership and task delegation.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent leadership qualities and ability to motivate others.

  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple project components simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Persuasive negotiation skills

  • Bilingual is beneficial, particularly in Spanish.

  • Self-motivated and maintain a positive teamwork-oriented attitude in a busy office environment.

  • Able to work effectively with diverse work groups including co-workers, clients, vendors, and claimants.

  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or NY City, TranSystems is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
