Description

Charlevoix Public Schools seeks a behavioral specialist to support staff in upholding a positive learning environment with high academic and behavioral standards. Charlevoix Elementary School has students in PK-6 grade.

*To be employed by the 3rd Party Contracting Agency Edustaff. Candidates must be employed or have the ability to be employed by Edustaff.*

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with elementary students in need of behavioral intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the school team including the principal, teachers, and social worker to plan and implement behavioral interventions for students in need of extra support.
  • Analyze SSIS data and reports for proactive intervention
  • Work with teachers to assess and improve student behavior
  • Develop and implement restorative practices for students.
  • Support dysregulated students.
  • Recognize student accomplishments and positive behaviors.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve building and district goals.
  • Attend professional development opportunities to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge of current practices and policies.

2024 - 2025 school year

Hours:

7 Hours
