Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Billing and Receiving Specialist to undertake a variety of tasks in order to help guarantee the proper handling of incoming product, purchase orders and billing. The right candidate will help generate the company's revenue and will work with other branches.


100% Onsite


Responsibilities:


  • Run margin exception report daily before billing.

  • Match all vendor receivers to our purchase orders before receiving.

  • Match all signed receivers to sales orders before billing.

  • Receive & bill within 24 hours of receiving or shipping material.

  • Request that any back orders to vendor purchase orders or sales orders are removed from original paperwork.

  • Ensure that bagging, stocking and pricing is entered correctly on all sales orders.

  • Run daily margin report each morning before billing.

  • Print open sales order report and PO report. Ensure that customer service representatives clean up errors weekly.

  • Make sure all materials are received and billed before all cycle counts and full inventories begin.

  • Issue all branch credits with the approval of Branch Manager.

  • Contact Billing and Receiving Manager if any credits will affect inventory.

  • Work with Admin person to make sure all vendor PO's and sales orders are filed properly.

  • Receive and bill all materials prior to any cycle counts and full inventories.

  • Close out all Receiving and bill each month.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years in similar role.

  • Knowledge of commercial material supplies.

  • Billing and receiving experience.

  • Candidate must have excellent analytical skills, basic math knowledge and organizational skills.
