Summary:

This position will be responsible for the execution of all capital markets support activities and administrative analysis. This position will perform mark-to-market analysis of open hedge positions and will facilitate the payment and collection of margin monies to/from the Company's broker/dealer counterparties. The position will provide essential support for all trading activities and will act as the liaison between Capital Markets and Finance on cash management matters.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Confirms all trades with broker/dealer counterparties recorded on trade blotter within 24 hours of execution, using either telephonic communication, e-mail or TradeWeb. Reconciles to written trade confirmations within 5 business days of execution.

  • Maintains Margin Call Tracking report. Initiates margin calls with Company's broker/dealers when mark- to-markets exceed thresholds detailed in the respective MSFTAs. Reconcile any differences that may arise between FMC and counterparties. Maintain familiarity with the margining terms of all MSFTAs.

  • Notify CFO in advance of both incoming and outgoing margin payments.

  • Enter all trades executed by Capital Markets and trades accepted in assignment into the risk management system (QRM).

  • Allocate all certified pools to TBA trades and settle allocated trades in QRM. Ensures all pool and pair off information is provided to broker/dealers as required to ensure timely settlement of pools.

  • Process all trade assignments, ensuring that assignment information reaches broker/dealers timely to ensure settlement of pools.

  • Maintain and distribute Gestatation Trade Mapping report, pair off report, and all other capital markets reports as may be required.

  • Responsible for maintaining electronic records of all contracts entered into with or relating to broker/dealer counterparties, including all MSFTAs.

  • Maintain good relations between Capital Markets and back-office personnel of FMC's counterparties.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office required. Experience

  • Experience with Lakewood, QRM, Webfocus is a plus, but not required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
