Maintenance Supervisor(3rd Shift)


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. The position involves working from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, four days a week (12-hour shifts).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Test, evaluate, and maintain equipment performance.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical devices, identifying causes of trouble.


• Disassemble and repair defective parts.


• Inspect parts for imperfections and dimensional changes.


• Adjust functional components and control instruments.


• Install specialized parts in devices.


• Perform routine lubrication and cleaning.


• Operate metalworking tools (e.g., drill press, grinder) for repairs.


• Initiate purchase orders for parts and machinery.


• Repair electrical equipment.


• Conduct skilled maintenance tasks (welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing).


• Check and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors.


• Maintain electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.


• Implement preventative maintenance procedures.


• Safely operate hand saws, drill presses, and electric drills.


• Develop, review, and execute maintenance work orders.


• Coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities.


• Supervise building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.


• Ensure proper tool and machinery care.


• Address employee performance issues and resolve complaints.


• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.


• Report safety, food safety, and quality concerns to relevant personnel.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise Maintenance Department employees.


• Conduct interviews, hiring, and training.


• Plan and assign work, appraise performance, and address employee issues.


• Attend leadership development courses and promote company culture.

Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.


• Two years of supervisory experience.


• Four years of related maintenance experience.
